Dew Tour Street Style: Highlights

Pretty high kickflip at the first spot of the whole course.

If there's any word to describe the whole competition, this word would definitely be "garnly". So long and so far, the Dew Tour real street competition, held at the Keegan Sauder's backyard at San Francisco, has been the most strict and fastest street course. The lap starts with small and almost broken kicker, but taking into account the high speed of the park, the riders were popped up into the air, and fastly launched to the hard pavement.

David Gravette grinding a big five-o at the truck gap

Another awesome spot at the couse was the big rail section. Although some riders skiped the section, the most braves ones, such as Gravette and Schekler, shredded the rail whit tigh tricks, including David's five-o and Sheck's back lipslide. It's important to highlight the speed that skaters got while ridding, based on the fact that the whole park was located at a downhill concrete street.

If you want to check at whole street course, check out the video with the highlights of the competition at San Francisco.

Skate Spots: The DC Embassy

After creating the biggest skateramp under the supervision of the living leyend Danny Way, and constructing the first and largest Skate Plaza, the DC Shoes company did it again, and provided to the European riders one of the cleanest skate training facilities, The DC Embassy. This"Embassy" is located on Barcelona, and it has been visited by riders from all over the globe. Bacerlona is considered as the "Meca" of the sport, so for that reason, the international shoes company decided to invade the country and settle down for once on the old continent. The outcomes of this facility can be already seen, in fact some of the finalist of the nowadays popular Street League were strictly trained on this park.

Bastien Salabanzi, one of the biggest European skateboarders out there, is part of the selection of riders that represents the brand on Barcelona and at rest of the continent as well. Salabanzi trains at the Embassy as much as he could, and the results are visible to all the skateboarding community. This fact let us think in one aspect that may be affecting skaters from the rest of the world, especially ones who belong to poorer regions. The question is, does these kind of facilities, such as the "DC Embassy", improves directly the level of pro skaters? The answer is definitely yes. For this reason, "embassies" must be constructed in different parts of the world, making the progression of the sport a little bit more fair and democratic.

These are the facilities, the dream of any skater, the pleasure of just a little group, am I right?

Check out the latest video of the Embassy, with their special guests, the Razis brothers, Enjoy!

Fueled by RedBull, the main idea of this contest is to mix up skateboarding skills and art abilities, fact that provides amazing outcomes. If you want to comprehend the real meaning of what I'm talking about, stop reading this sentence and enjoy these awesome pics!

Travis Rice: Lib Tech Pro Model out there!

This board is known to all lovers of the mountain as the perfect board for anyone who has a medium-high snowboard and likes to enjoy the mountain in all its versions. Regarding last year's model which is new to consider a new measure is 150 cm. than those who are lower and do not have many legs comes to hair as the 153 cm was the smallest measure of the year, which sometimes seems a little bit wide for kids or women.

As technology and materials is the same as last year. You know the best materials you can put a table in this price and manufacturing already famous by the best builders. In another design again TRAVIS RICE and MIKE PARILLO are exceeded, to me personally is that I like best of all created so far. Being aware that the LIB-TECH boards are not created by a group of designers, is a unique artist who takes care of it and it shows in their designs.

On the meantime, check out some Travis' footage on the Red Bull Signature Series:

Ryan Sheckler: "The Sheckler Foundation"

The little blond kid who used to win competition to competition and quickly turn into a pro, now
is focused on a original campaing which mainly deals with the improvements that skateboarding
could provide to different kids around the planet.

Sheckler, aslo known as "Scheks", who is now 22 years old is not only one of the most famous
skateboarders on the current, but also he is very commited to the sorroundings of the sports, this is
why he founded the Sheckler Foundation. This organization, created on 2008 by the very same ex
reality show star and his family, is mainly focused on getting money in order to help riders that
have suffered from paralizing accidents as well as serious dammages. Among the events that the
fundation organizes is the "Skate for a cause" competition, which one basically fundraise money
for charity and riders on rehab.

This year, Ryan and his crew already carry on the "skate for a cause" competition, and the results
have been more positive than they hoped. On this event the amount of money that was raised is about $87,000, profits that are destinated for charities such as the A.skate Foundation. We all know that Ryan is
not the common skater, and sometimes he has been qualified as a boomer, but we don't have to forget our roots, as Shecks did. Helped by his own sponsors (Red Bull, Etnies and Volcom) actions like these are possible, and demonstrate at the same time how real the extreme sports industry really is.

Travis Rice: The King of Supernatural Red Bull Contest

The king of snowboarding go-high style Travis Rice did it again and at the same time made history on the snowboarding competitions timeline. Nothing new for Travis, the one who seems relaxed with the ground breaking routine he reached throughout the competition. As we already know, Red Bull Supernatural contest is made up by different snowboarding diciplines, including backcountry, slopestyle and a unbelieve big air, being shredded by the hottest riders on the scene. The origin of the competion was an idea that was presented five years ago, by the very same winner, and today it establishes a innovative and overwhelming outlook to the current snowboarding contests and the ones come up.

Including the participation of well-known riders such as Scotty Lago, Gigi Ruf, Nicolas Muller and John Jackson, the Red Bull Supernatural is the challenge to overcome, stating the qualities that an overall profesional riders must have. Lots of powder, lots bails and lots of breathless stunts are part of this brand new competition, the one that for sure will blow your mind, even if you are not into the sport.
